John grew up learning the important interaction of soil, plants, animals and nature on an organic dairy in the Finger Lakes.  When John began farming on his own, he developed a real interest and passion for a regenerative farming system and realized the value of understanding and supplying the right nutrients at the right time to growing plants.  John substantially increased the quality of his animal forages over the course of a few years when applying this talent. Today, John operates an organic produce farm and provides consultation to growers looking for a higher quality, more healthy and productive crop using a regenerative more natural approach.

Dave grew up in rural Oswego County, in a home that believed in self sufficiency and hard work. Gardening and clean eating was a way of life, and those early lessons have shaped his professional life. Since the age of 14 he has worked in the farm and garden retail space, beginning at his local Agway. He worked for Tractor Supply Co. while studying Graphic Communication and Design in college, and soon after had the opportunity to help TSC expand their market into the beautiful Finger Lakes. The past 5 years have been spent developing his own small farm and honing his woodworking skills on Cayuga Lake, building docks. As the newest addition to the Cayuga Ag team, Dave’s design background will help us to better communicate and inform our customers.
